On the evening of October 25th, the Teaching and Research Office for International Students of the School of Language and Culture (School of International Exchange) held a discussion on the revision of the training program for business Chinese majors and the construction of disciplines. The activity was presided over by Qu Moxi, director of the teaching and research office. The teachers discussed issues such as course arrangement, curriculum setting, class hours and credit allocation, undergraduate graduation thesis writing and management, etc.


At present, the first batch of international students majoring in Business Chinese has entered the second year of undergraduate study. According to the previous teaching and tutoring experience, the teachers believe that the graduation thesis of international students is an important part of the subject management of Business Chinese major, and it is also a part with many problems to be solved. Therefore, students should start and prepare early from topic selection to writing. The teachers had a detailed and specific discussion on the setting of the thesis writing course and the setting of the mid-term assessment and review meeting of the thesis.


This teaching and research activity has strengthened the communication and exchange of teachers in teaching, deepened the thinking on the cultivation of international students in our school, enhanced the reasonable division of labor and effective cooperation awareness of the teaching team, and will further promote the construction and development of business Chinese major.
