On May 8th, Rector Nurlan Duralbekov of Karagandy University of the nameof academician E.A. Buketov (Karaganda Buketov University) led a delegation and visited Shanghai University of Political Science and Law (SHUPL). Prof. Luo Ligang, Vice President and Executive Director of China National Institute for SCO International Exchange and Judicial Cooperation (CNISCO), met with the delegation. Directors and deans of the relevant departments and schools of SHUPL attended the meeting.
Luo Ligang extended warm welcome to the delegation, and introduced SHUPL's discipline construction, international cooperation and exchange, as well as the relevant information of CNISCO. He particularly highlighted the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Law Universities Alliance and high-level academic exchange programs such as Shanghe Scholars and Shanghe Youth. He stated that SHUPL, based on CNISCO, will leverage the three major functions of training, think tank, and forum, and is committed to strengthening academic and cultural exchanges and cooperation with the countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Nurlan Duralpetkov expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and introduced the development history and faculty strength of Karaganda Buketov University, looking forward to strengthening cooperation with SHUPL in the cultivation of legal talents in the future.
After the meeting, the delegation delivered the 134th overseas lecture titled International Business Management in Kazakhstan: Problems and Solutions.
