SHUPL Delegation Visited Partner Universities and Research Institutions in Greece, Bulgaria, and Poland

At the invitation of partner universities and research institutions including Hellenic Institute of International and Foreign Law, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, University of Finance, Insurance, Business and Entrepreneurship (Bulgaria), and University of Warsaw (Poland), President Liu Xiaohong led a delegation on an international cooperation visit to Greece, Bulgaria, and Poland from May 19 to 28. The delegation reached multiple cooperative agreements and signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the aforementioned universities and research institutions. Directors and faculty from relevant departments from Shanghai University of Political Science and Law (SHUPL) also joined the delegation.

 

At the Hellenic Institute of International and Foreign Law, Director Anna Mantakou and her colleagues warmly received the SHUPL delegation. The two sides reached cooperative intentions, signed an MOU, and exchanged views on collaborative development projects focusing on cultivating international legal talents and practical training programs in international commercial arbitration and mediation.

 

At the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Prof. Dimitrios P. Panagiotopoulos, Vice Rector of the University and former President of the International Association of Sports Law, along with Head of International Affairs Ms. Athina Nikolaki, cordially met with the delegation. Both sides reviewed the jointly organized overseas lectures and engaged in discussions on cooperation content and development directions for specific academic disciplines.

 

In Bulgaria, the delegation visited the University of Finance, Insurance, Business and Entrepreneurship. University Rector Prof. Boris Velchev, Academic Director Prof. Mariela Deliverska, and directors of relevant faculties attended the exchange activities. The two institutions formally signed an MOU and introduced the distinctive features of their development respectively.

 

  At the University of Warsaw, the delegation visited the Faculty of Law and Administration and the Polish Center for Chinese Legal and Economic Studies. Professor Stawomir Zolteck, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration, and the team led by Professor Piotr Grzebyk from the Research Center warmly welcomed the delegation. The two universities jointly signed an MOU, formally establishing a collaborating relationship.
