INTERNATIONAL BUSSINESS
Based on the platform of school-enterprise cooperation and embedded in the actual operation of enterprises, the professional master's program of International Business adopts a diversified talent training mode combining on-campus theoretical courses and off-campus practical teaching, and pays attention to cultivating students' international business skills as well as innovation and development abilities. Focusing on the new trend of the development of international economic relations and business cooperation, we integrate the internal and external high-quality school running strengths of the economics and management disciplines, give full play to the resource advantages of our law disciplines and the China National Institute for SCO International Exchange and Judicial Cooperation, highlight the training characteristics of law and business integration compound talents, and strengthen the cultivation of application ability of business practice education, in order to adapt to the new pattern of China's high-level opening up and the new requirements for international business talents with the development of economy and society. We attach great importance to the cultivation of students' practical ability, innovation ability and social adaptability. Characterized by diversified practical teaching, we have established practice bases with various large-sized and medium-sized professional foreign trade companies, enterprises with self-supporting import and export rights, cross-border e-commerce enterprises and relevant industry associations, and regularly invite experienced experts from practical departments to give lectures. We make full use of team learning, case analysis, field research, simulation training and other heuristic and seminar-style teaching methods, closely link theory with practice, and focus on cultivating students' ability to analyze and solve problems. Aiming at improving students' English listening and speaking ability, some courses are taught in English with original foreign textbooks.
With the outstanding ability of discipline construction, the professional master's program of International Business has undertaken more than 10 national projects, 20 provincial and ministerial projects, 20 works (co-authored) and teaching materials (chief editor, CO editor) and more than 300 high-level scientific research achievements. There are 8 professors and 16 associate professors.
LAW AND ECONOMICS
Law and Economics is a master's program of a secondary discipline outside the catalogue set up by the School of Economics and Management, of which the first level discipline is law. Integrating law with economics, this major is a theoretical system using relevant economic theories and methods to study legal theory and specific legal issues. By using the basic principles of economics to analyze legal issues, we explore the basic spirit of law from the perspective of economics. On the basis of giving full play to the advantages of law discipline in our university, this major strengthens the penetration of economics and management knowledge, and realizes the organic combination of law and business. The main research directions are as follows:
1) Analysis of Law and Economics. This direction mainly focuses on the deep integration of law and economy, and discusses the basic theoretical issues in the cross field of law and economy. It emphasizes the use of economic principles to explain the causes of legal problems, and puts forward the corresponding solutions. The quantitative analysis methods in economics are used to demonstrate the impact of laws and regulations on economy, society and environment, so as to scientifically evaluate the implementation effect of laws and regulations.
2) Law and Finance. The research direction is devoted to exploring the organic relationship between law and finance, emphasizing the coordination and unity between laws, regulations and finance. It is of great practical significance to prevent and resolve financial risks and maintain the security and stability of China's finance. We also carry out theoretical research on the hot issues such as the legal means of financial supervision, the legal issues of network finance, the legal basis of new financial business, the legitimacy of private financial lending, the legal protection in the process of financial risk prevention, the revision of China's financial law and so on.
3) Law and Economic Security. This research direction mainly identifies the unstable factors in the process of China's economic operation, and uses legal tools to eliminate the unstable factors, so as to promote and escort China's economic security. The research contents include: the model analysis of the outbreak of economic crisis, the legal system design of China's economic security, the legislative basis of non-traditional security, and the quantitative analysis of the impact of “The Antiterrorism Law” on China's national security.
